Boris Johnson “knows how bad it is because he was there” the shadow attorney general has said with reference to Downing Street parties during lockdown.
Emily Thornberry claimed the PM “continues to lie to us” and was failing to take full responsibility for events.
She said he did not realise “just how angry people feel” over reports of multiple parties, and he “should resign now”.
