Baseball is back… and it’s still as weird and wonderful as ever! Hilarious clips from around the league on Opening Day show fans devouring hot dogs, dressing up as players – and even bringing their pets to the ball park
Baseball returned after four months away and fans went all out to make the most of MLB’s Opening Day.
An Aaron Judge home run, a stellar performance from Shohei Ohtani and the classic grub – hotdogs. It was like the sport had never been away.
Eyes were on the Bronx as Judge’s New York Yankees welcomed the San Francisco Giants – a team he nearly signed in the offseason – and the fans were ready for the highly-anticipated event.
One Grandad rocked a half-and-half jersey, some brought their pet dogs – complete with club merch – along, while some even saw it as the day to dress up as a player.
Special transport was also put on for all those in pinstripes. The New York Transit Museum revived their Nostalgia Rides for the first day with the vintage train making the route from Grand Central Station to the stadium.
