A 20-year-old man has been killed in a horror hit-and-run crash, as police hunt for the driver who fled the scene before setting his car on fire.
The incident unfolded at Morphett Vale in the city’s south at about 9.50pm on Wednesday, when a silver Ford sedan slammed into a Toyota Hilux.
The passenger of the Hilux, from Sellicks Beach, died at the scene.
The driver of the Ford failed to stop and his torched car was later found in a gully off the Southern Expressway at Reynella.

The smash left the driver of the Toyota, a 22-year-old man from Morphett Vale, with non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to Flinders Medical Centre for treatment.
Police are asking anyone who saw the silver Ford sedan or white Toyota Hilux travelling on Flaxmill Road prior to the crash to come forward.
Flaxmill Road was closed to all traffic for about eight hours while the scene was investigated.
It has since reopened.
The number of lives lost on South Australian roads this year is now 58, compared with 52 at this time last year.
