Jordan Elsey endured a nightmare home debut as the Perth Glory star was shown a red card just 57 seconds into his outing for his new club.
Elsey’s rash tackle on Western Sydney Wanderers star Yeni Ngbakoto, in which he went through the back of the attacker, left the referee with no choice but to dismiss the defender on Friday night.
He also etched his name in the record books, with his red card being brandished in the second-fastest time in A-League history.
