Argentina star Angel Di Maria will return to Juventus with a giant tattoo of the World Cup after he scored in the final against France.
Di Maria continued his run of scoring in Argentina finals after he also bagged the winning goal against Brazil in the Copa America last year, and then netted again in his team’s 3-0 win against Italy in the UEFA Cup of Champions in June.
The 34-year-old won the penalty for Argentina’s first goal, and then scored himself as he finished off a stunning team move to double his side’s lead before half time.

The winger was forced to sit out Argentina’s wins against Australia and Croatia, while only coming on as a late substitute in their quarter-final victory against the Netherlands.
But fortunately, he was able to return on the biggest of stages – and after playing such a pivotal role in the victory – he has documented his success by getting inked up.
Footage has emerged of the Argentine getting a large tattoo of the iconic World Cup trophy on his thigh.
There also appears to be three stars above the trophy, which are likely to represent Argentina’s World Cup triumphs in 1978, 1986 and 2022.

Having been away celebrating with the Argentina team, Di Maria visited his favourite tattoo artist to add to his collection.
Earlier this week, Di Maria’s wife Jorgelina Cardoso posted WhatsApp messages on social media sent by her husband where he correctly predicted that Argentina would beat France and he would score in the World Cup final.
‘I will be world champion, my love. It is written. And I will score a goal. Because it is written like at the Maracanã and at Wembley,’ Di Maria wrote on the eve of the final.
Di Maria – who was born in Rosario like his captain Messi – has made 129 caps for his country, having made his debut back in 2008.
While the gifted footballer has moved around clubs, notably from Real Madrid to Manchester United to PSG before Juventus, he has been a mainstay in the Argentina squad for almost 15 years.
He moved to Juventus in the summer as a free agent having spent the last seven years at PSG, where he won 14 major trophies – including five Ligue 1 titles.
