Australia’s strong start to their Rugby League World Cup campaign continued as Mal Meninga’s side crushed Scotland in Coventry.

The Kangaroos put fifteen tries past the Bravehearts in England, with Josh Addo-Carr scoring four while Campbell Graham got himself a hat trick. Nathan Cleary also put in a masterful performance at halfback.

Here, Daily Mail Australia rates and slates the Kangaroos team with Meninga left with plenty of decisions to make ahead of their final group game against Italy.

James Tedesco – 7

Perhaps harsh as he did nothing wrong, but he also had very little to do. Took his try well early in the second half, making the most of brittle defending.

Josh Addo-Carr – 10

The perfect performance from the fast man. By no means were his tries ‘easy’, and that fourth score was something fans will be talking about for years to come. Truly special.

Matt Burton – 8

Struggled to shine alongside his incredible teammates but sprung into life in the last 10 minutes, scoring himself a try before that assist for Addo-Carr – which was worth the entry fee alone.

Jack Wighton – 8

Bulldozed his way through the centre of the park on countless occasions, like a Year 12 playing footy against poor Year 7s.

Campbell Graham – 9

His hat trick was far easier than his fellow winger on the other side of the park., but he had to be there and it was a physical mismatch for his counterparts.

Cameron Munster – 8

The conditions may have been miserable but Munster still oozed absolute class throughout in Coventry. Didn’t get on the scoresheet himself but the Scots simply couldn’t handle him.

Nathan Cleary – 9

What a way to make your debut. There can be no doubt that he is the starting halfback for Australia in the big games. Had his kicking been better, he’d have got a perfect 10. The best player on the planet.

Reagan Campbell-Gillard – 7

Flashes of his best NRL form, but got lost in the brilliance of his teammates. Had no hesitation to fight for his team when involved in a scrap with Luke Bain.

Harry Grant – 8

Changed Australia’s intensity against Fiji but didn’t standout as much this time around. That kick through for Graham, though, was delightful.

Patrick Carrigan – 7

Superb on defence for Australia, putting in a number of crunching tackles that made Scotland wish they weren’t in possession.

Angus Crichton – 8

Was quickest to pounce on a Munster kick to score in the first half and worked well in tandem with Addo-Carr. Two strong performances in their opening games of the tournament.

Liam Martin – 8

Tenacious in the tackle and so clever to find Jack Wighton for his second try of the night.

Isaah Yeo – 8

Fully deserving of his late try and looked completely at ease in his new surroundings. Will be a big player for the Kangaroos as the competition progresses.

Isaah Yeo capped off a fine debut with a try and will be a huge figure moving forwards

Interchanges

Ben Hunt – 7

Set up Yeo excellently for his try and stripped the Scots of the ball on a number of occasions. Drowned out by the strong displays of his teammates unfortunately.

Lindsay Collins – 7

The perfect environment to make your international debut. Fitted in seamlessly with his teammates and kept things ticking over.

Valentine Holmes – 7

Couldn’t get on the end of a Cleary grubber kick and he will be fearing that Addo-Carr could be the man to chase down the record for most ever RLWC tries.

Jake Trbojevic – 7

Maintained his imperious defensive discipline shown against Fiji and worked well with Yeo and Carrigan.
