Cabinet minister Nadhim Zahawi has repeatedly told the BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg that it is extremely unlikely we’ll see blackouts this winter.
But, he highlighted that the war in Ukraine has lead to national grid issuing a warning in case things “align in a bad way”.
Zahawi added that people can enjoy Christmas and feel the government is supporting them with their bills.
