Commonwealth Games cycling struck by another horrifying crash as one rider goes over the barrier and into the crowd leaving athletes and spectators requiring urgent medical attention.
England cyclist Matt Walls landed in the crowd during the final lap in the men’s 15km scratch race qualifying and medical teams immediately rushed onto the track.
Fellow racer Matt Bostock has been taken away on a stretcher, while Walls is still receiving treatment behind screens in the stands.
A member of the crowd has been taken away in a wheelchair covered in blood and a young girl is also being treated by medics for a cut on her arm.
