UFC star Conor McGregor’s £2million Dublin pub was last night attacked with ‘two petrol bombs’ as he was hosting a taste testing event inside.
Police are investigating after the property was targeted on Wednesday night, with two pipe bombs also reported to have been found at the scene.
McGregor, who is from Dublin, bought the Black Forge Inn pub, on Drimnagh Road in Crumlin in 2019.
Gardai are now appealing for witnesses to provide dashcam footage recorded in the area overnight.
A source told Dublin Live that two men on scooters were seen near the pub, which was closed at the time, before the alleged attempted bombing.
They said: ‘There was two people allegedly spotted on scooters who passed the establishment at the time and next thing they were being chased by two others who had come out of the property.
‘McGregor had been holding a taste testing menu in the pub at the same time so the alleged attackers may have assumed he was inside.’

The pub boasts on its website that it will ‘lead the way in entertainment in Dublin Twelve’ and that it will host iconic events at our premium venue’.
The swanky interior combines traditional pub with a restaurant. The menu includes a £15 beef burger and a prime Irish fillet steak for £30.
The mixed martial artist, who is a former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight and lightweight double-champion, now has a burgeoning business portfolio.
As well as the Black Forge Inn, The Notorious also acquired The Marble Arch in Drimnagh. And as well as his pubs, McGregor’s other businesses include sports recovery spray Tidl, a fashion line with David August and fitness app ‘McGregor Fast’.
‘Gardai are investigating an incident of attempted criminal damage at a licenced premises on the Drimnagh Road,’ the police told Dublin Live.
‘No damage was done to the premises. Gardai are appealing for witnesses in relation to this incident is asked to contact Gardai.
‘Gardai are particularly keen for anyone with camera footage from the area overnight to make this available to them.
