Controversial American UFC star Sean Strickland bizarrely showers with a AK-47 MACHINE GUN

UFC middleweight contender Sean Strickland shared a bizarre video of himself on Instagram showering with an AK-47 and saying it is ‘the most f*****g American thing you can do’.

The outspoken fighter, who is coming off a brutal knockout loss to title challenger Alex Pereira in July, posted the video clip on Saturday as part of his ‘tacticool course’ and encouraged fans to do the same.

Alongside the video, Strickland (pictured from bout against Pereira) wrote: ‘Lesson number 3 in my ‘taticool’ course. You always, always shower with your AK. She likes to be dirty, but not that dirty’

In the clip, the 31-year-old North Carolina native says: ‘I’m gonna give you guys some advice. Showering with your AK is the most f*****g American thing you can do. It’s not f*****g weird.’

Alongside the video, Strickland wrote: ‘Lesson number 3 in my ‘taticool’ course. You always, always shower with your AK. She likes to be dirty, but not that dirty.’

Fans were quick to point out that the AK-47 was developed in the Soviet Union and that Strickland might be experiencing psychological problems.

‘Sir that is a Russian manufactured weapon, the only way to allow this to be completely American is for the AK-47 to be swapped with a AR-15, a 12 pack of Budweiser, Charlie Daniel’s greatest hits, and a cousin,’ posted one user.

‘Certified schizophrenic,’ said another.

‘This might be the most Sean Strickland thing I’ve yet to see,’ commented a third. 

Strickland has earned a reputation in MMA circles as a loose cannon due to controversial opinions, unhinged social media posts and his tendency to knock out sparring partners during training.

Strickland has predicted Israel Adesanya to beat Alex Pereira for the middleweight title in just a week’s time. 

‘I got Izzy,’ said Strickland on Brendan Schaub’s Food Truck Diaries podcast. ‘Izzy’s gonna dance around, f***ing run around, fight like a b*tch. 

‘He’s not gonna do what I do, he’s not gonna stand in front of him. I think Izzy’s gonna win, Izzy has a very strange body type, [he’s] hard to fight.’
