You’d have thought Anthony Joshua was the star of the show this afternoon, but Derek Chisora made his presence known as soon as he walked in the door.

Del Boy was holding an ice pack against his knee cap as he made his way through the crowd. He sat down, three rows, back from the front and shouted ‘no f***king interviews today people. I’m not doing any f***ing interviews today’.

Although, he did turn to me and smirk as he settled in for this afternoon’s press conference.

Chisora still played his role in creating the atmosphere at Joshua’s first press conference with Dillian Whyte despite refusing to speak to the media.

He even convinced AJ to sit in the crowd with him before getting up on stage for his media obligation.

AJ was seen sitting next to Del Boy in amongst the journalists. But, what were they talking about? Well, the pair were simply catching up before going on to discuss the 33-year-old’s rematch with Whyte on August 12.

Chisora even congratulated AJ for selling his show out before joking he didn’t need to do any media as the fight was selling itself.

Chisora also revealed he would be fighting on the undercard of Joshua vs Whyte II. He refused to name an opponent but said he would be there.

He told Boxing Social: ‘I’m actually boxing the the undercard of this fight. Don’t worry about it. You’ll hear soon (about my opponent).’

Chisora has been out of action since his defeat to Tyson Fury in their trilogy bout back in December.

Many had questioned whether Chisora’s defeat to Fury was his last professional fight. However, Del Boy appears to have shut down such claims.
