Nadine Dorries has dismissed claims MPs plotting to remove Boris Johnson from office are being blackmailed as “nonsense”.
The culture secretary accused the Tory MP who made the claims, William Wragg, of “attention seeking behaviour”.
And she defended Mr Johnson, who she said had “delivered us the greatest majority since Margaret Thatcher”.
