But worry not, a 29p kitchen cupboard staple is all you’ll need to rid your windscreen of that grimy blotch, and all the other streaks and stains. 

The solution is one of five tips for keeping your motor spotless, shared by a TikTok cleaning expert to their 1.3million followers.

Chantel Mila, who goes by the username @mama_mila_, posted five hacks which she claims will 'change the way you clean your car', one of which is by using cleaning vinegar

Chantel Mila, who goes by the username @mama_mila_, posted five hacks which she claims will ‘change the way you clean your car.’

She said that using cleaning vinegar will get rid of any marks and provide a shimmering finish within minutes. 

Drivers can also use white vinegar or distilled malt vinegar, which can be purchased from Asda online for just 29p. 

Chantel said: ‘Mix equal parts cleaning vinegar and water to make your shine.’

In the clip, she added the mixture to a cloth and wiped down her windscreen, which instantly removed a build-up of grime. 

The cleaner listed four other useful hacks to keep your car fresh, including using a thin grout brush to clean tight crevices. 

Another great way to tackle the hard-to-reach areas is by wrapping a cloth around a drink bottle to clean cup holders.

After using these cleaning hacks, Chantel advised her followers to use linen spray to keep your car smelling fresh.  

To prevent your car from getting dirty, she advised laying a towel down in the back seat, which is a perfect idea for any drivers with children or pets. 

The viral video currently has over 334,000 views and has received 17,000 likes and over 5000 saves from potential drivers. 

Since the video was posted, Chantel has added a few more tips including how to clean the exterior of your car.

In the video, she used a microfiber mop to clean the outside of her car and handled those hard to reach areas in a few swift sweeps.

She then went on to scrub her headlights with baking soda and lemon, to make them ‘sparkle.’

Adding lemon oil to a cloth, Chantel scrubbed her seats and claimed: ‘[It] cleans leather and makes your car smell amazing. 

She also suggested using cleaning slime to catch the dust in your car easily. 

The video has since gained over 1.2million views and has been saved 25,000 times from intrigued TikTokers. 

One commented: ‘The mop is genius.’

Another agreed: ‘Genius! Especially the headlights.’ 

While another wrote: ‘I need to wash my car this week. Will be trying some of these.’ 

However, before you jump to try the tricks, Chantel advised to try a patch test in your car because each car finish is ‘different’ and may react differently.
