The third and deciding Test match between England and South Africa has been suspended following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at the age of 96.
The first day of the third and final Test at The Oval was abandoned without a ball being bowled on Thursday.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have confirmed that Friday’s play will not take place.
They are yet to confirm whether play will resume over the weekend or if the Test will be cancelled altogether.
A statement read: ‘Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Friday’s play between England and South Africa Men at The Oval will not take place.
‘For fixtures beyond Friday, updates will be provided in due course.’

Friday’s scheduled matches in the Rachel Heyhoe Flint Trophy have also been suspended as a mark of respect.
British sport is poised to poised to completely shut down.
Golfing action at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth was suspended ‘until further notice’ when news broke of the Queen’s death at around 6:30pm on Thursday evening.
Discussions are currently ongoing with the Government regarding whether this weekend’s football fixtures will go ahead and ‘an appropriate announcement will be made at the earliest opportunity’.
