REVEALED: Families of England stars had their seats TAKEN by yobs for Euro 2020 final and were victims of attempted ticket thefts at pick-up points, with one player’s loved ones caught in a scary crush after fans broke into Wembley
The families of a number of England stars were forced to escape from ticketless yobs who infiltrated their way inside Wembley ahead of Sunday’s European Championship final.
Loved ones were also victims of attempted ticket thefts at pick-up points and frenzied queues at Wembley’s Gate G entrance as they attempted to enter the stadium.
A number of players’ family members – who Sportsmail are not naming – entered the stadium to find their seats had already been occupied by hooligans who had stormed into the stadium without tickets.

The scary situation was not just confined to families of England players either, as the son of Italy head coach Roberto Mancini, Andrea, found his seat was taken as he watched the first-half ‘sitting in the stadium’s steps.’
The night should have been one of the proudest for the players families, but instead the occasion turned into an ordeal for a number of the squad’s nearest and dearest.
Among the most shocking accounts were that one England players’ loved ones were caught in a crush as around 50 yobs without tickets broke their way into the stadium at the families’ entrance.

Other families, some of whom had small children with them, have spoken of incidents of groups of males loitering but the turnstiles trying to snatch their tickets as they approached the entrance.
There was also said to be an instance of attempted theft near the area from which families were told to collect their match tickets.
Once families were in the stadium, they found people without tickets sitting in their seats. The culprits simply moved from row to row after being told to moved on.
At least one member of a player’s party is believed to have been verbally abused after asking a person to move from their allocated seat.
