Florida Atlantic University players trolled their Kansas State counterparts in the aftermath of their first and only Elite Eight triumph in the school’s history this weekend.
Following the 79-76 win on Saturday, the Owls ‘pulled the Uno reverse card’ on their opponents from the team’s locker room at Madison Square Garden, according to a video shared by Barstool Sports, after several members of the Wildcats were seen dancing to Lil Baby’s ‘Low Down’ song pre-game.
Even Kansas State’s head coach – Jerome Tang – joined the team in its pre-game rituals. He showed off some of his dance moves while his players clapped to the song’s beat, as it seems that staff and players took Saturday’s game a bit too lightly, heading into the contest.
And FAU players appeared to have taken that personally, as the Owls have now turned into the team with the most post-game trolls at March Madness, all thanks to their fairytale run.
In the previous round against FDU, FAU players stirred the pot when sophomore guard Alijah Martin went for a dunk with five seconds left in regulation and with the Owls leading 78-70.

He didn’t pull off the slam and was immediately booed by FDU fans in the building.
College basketball commentator Ian Eagle even reacted by claiming that players ‘shouldn’t do that’ on live TV, despite FAU players trying to stay professional and playing until the game clock’s expiration.
Martin did manage to redeem himself by scoring 17 points for the Owls in Saturday’s contest, while Kansas State’s highest-scorer of the night was guard Markquis Nowell dropped a 30-piece performance.
FAU’s latest trolling act will serve as a reminder to teams that they should only dance and celebrate if they actually defeat their opponents – not before the game.
The Owls will now face either fifth-seeded San Diego State or sixth-seeded Creighton, who play Sunday in the South Region final.
FAU will head to Houston on an 11-game winning streak.
