Once Fury’s next fight is wrapped up, Skills Challenge Promotions are hoping to stage the long-awaited undisputed fight with Oleksandr Usyk over in Saudi Arabia.

At first, there were discussions about staging it in December on the same card as Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder but according to Warren those plans have now been diverted to the first quarter of 2024.

This comes after talkSPORT‘s Simon Jordan reported that Fury would not be available for the back end of the year.

Although Warren wouldn’t confirm whether this was true he did mention that he may not be depending on when Fury’s next fight lands.

‘I’m not going to get into that all we are focusing on his next fight at the moment and depending on what date we announce it he may not be available,’ he continued.

‘There may not be a December anyway because Amer [Abdallah], who is the Skills Challenge Head of Boxing, he said they were looking to put whatever they are looking to put together in the first quarter of 2024 anyway.’
