Harry Kane has equaled the all-time scoring record for Tottenham after a classy curled finish against Fulham.

The goal put him level with Jimmy Greaves on 266 Spurs goals, and also moved him onto 199 in the Premier League.

It came on the stroke of halftime and gave Tottenham a vital lead as they look to chase down the top four.

Jamie Carragher showed his admiration for Kane, tweeting ‘what a player!’ after the strike.

He also told Sky Sports before the game he was ‘sure’ the 29-year-old would surpass Alan Shearer’s record for Premier League goals.

Gary Neville labelled the striker ‘world class’ and ‘clinical’ on after the finish.

‘This for me is the most predictable Harry Kane that you’ll ever see,’ he said, ‘as soon as he comes onto that right foot you know exactly what he’s going to do, but it happens so quickly after that corner.

‘He is absolutely clinical is Harry Kane. He’s a brilliant goal scorer we all know that. Spurs have is a world-class striker, who in one minute can take the game away from you.’

Kane has now scored 16 Premier League goals this season in just 21 games, one less than he managed last year in a full season.

His excellent form has come in spite of a mixed run for Tottenham, who have slid to fifth after an excellent start to the season.

Sporstmail recently revealed he striker is wanted by Manchester United, but his record-equaling goal against Fulham showed how keenly he would be missed in North London if he was to leave.
