Some of the most reduced properties for sale in Britain have been revealed and the list includes both mansions and modest abodes.

The asking prices on these properties for sale on Zoopla have been cut by between 44.8 and 50 per cent.. 

In one case, it translates into a reduction of £5million on a four-bedroom mansion in on the outskirts of the Hertfordshire town of Watford.

This four-bedroom mansion is located to the east of the Hertfordshire town of Watford in a village called Letchmore Heath and saw its asking price cut in half in February 2023.

According to the listing history, it hit the market for £10million on October 17, 2022, in the aftermath of the mini-Budget which helped cause mortgage rates to spike.

Then, on February 28, 2023, the asking price was cut in half to £5million.

The property extends across more than 6,500 square feet. It includes an extensive bar and games room with a large poker table. The house is being sold via Lumleys estate agents.

The property is 1.6 miles from Radlett train station and 2.5 miles from Elsetree and Borehamwood train station, making it ideal for commuters into London.

It has two bedrooms and has seen its asking price cut by 46 per cent in recent months. It was first listed on January 6, 2023 for £249,950 and has had three price reductions since. 

It was lowered by £10,000 in February, by a further £14,950 in April and then by £90,000 a few weeks ago. 

It is now on the market for £135,000 and the sale is being handled by Robert Ellis estate agents.
