Jamie Carragher called on Tottenham to sack Cristian Stellini just a month into his reign as caretaker boss – as he told the club to ‘get a proper manager in, not Antonio Conte‘s mate.
Spurs were ripped to shreds by Eddie Howe‘s men in the first half, going 5-0 down in the first 20 minutes in one of the most astonishing collapses in recent Premier League history, leaving football fans and pundits stunned.
Carragher gave a brutal response after seeing the north London outfit implode, saying Tottenham were a ‘disgrace’ as he also tore into their defenders.
‘Newcastle are brilliant, they have been all season,’ he said on Twitter.
‘Tottenham are a disgrace! How have they gone to a back four for the first time this season, with Porro a full back that can’t defend & Perisic who is a winger’
