Jaylen Watson had himself a day, both on Sunday as the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVII and again Wednesday, finding himself in a wheelchair amid the raucous celebration.

Much to the amusement of his teammates, Watson posted a photo to Twitter of him, slumped in a wheelchair being wheeled around by a security guard while still rocking white shades and amusingly, black Nike Air Force shoes.

There were many wild moments down Grand Blvd. with the Chiefs open top bus parade en route to a rally at Union Station, the 109-year-old Beaux-Arts style facility in Kansas City.

Watson was filmed downing a large portion of a Hennessy bottle as the crowd went wild. He then proceeded to celebrate in a manner akin to LeBron James‘ pregame ritual. Though it wasn’t long before

Rookie cornerback Jaylen Watson had himself a day during the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade

His quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, looked to have enjoyed himself – though not quite as much – partying the night away with Travis Kelce, hours after many felt he had handed over the Lombardi Trophy to a fan. Dailymail.com exclusively revealed it was in fact a replica.

Mahomes quote tweeted Watson’s post with four laugh-crying emojis and wasn’t the only Chief to bask in the viral photo.

Fellow defensive back Juan Thornhill replied to the original post: ‘Nooooo I know you didn’t go out like that,’ followed by two laugh emojis of his own.

Modern Family actor and Kansas City homer, Eric Stonestreet, simply added ‘Bro.’

Watson’s shoe choice – a common meme regarding the wearer as someone who means business and not to be trifled with –  caught the attention of fellow rookie, George Karlaftis III.

The first-year corner drafted in the seventh round out of Washington State, also posted a story to his Instagram of him with the popular cognac.

We know Watson did not make it out to the afterparty with Mahomes and All-Pro tight end Kelce, and by the looks, it seems as if Watson duly earned himself a rest.
