Jurgen Klopp delivered thinly veiled barbs ahead of Chelsea‘s visit to Anfield on Saturday.
The Liverpool manager tried his best to keep it brief when discussing the near-£200m spend by the Blues in the January transfer window alone.
‘Chelsea fix problems differently to us,’ he said during his Thursday lunchtime press conference.
Klopp went on to suggest that Liverpool will have no choice but to spend in the future to match their rivals but admitted he cannot foresee Chelsea continuing on such a financial trajectory.
‘I’m not sure they can do that for the next 10 years.’
More to come.
