Novak Djokovic takes one step closer to securing his 20th Grand Slam after cruising past Canada’s rising star Denis Shapovalov to reach the Wimbledon final

Novak Djokovic is just one Wimbledon win away from joining Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer to become greatest tennis player of all time. 

The 34-year-old beat Canada’s rising star Denis Shapovalov in their semi-final clash on Friday to reach his 30th Grand Slam final. 

As a result, he will now look to claim his 20th Grand Slam and fourth consecutive Wimbledon title by overcoming Matteo Berrettini in Sunday’s men’s singles final.
