Footy fans have taken to Twitter to hail Latrell Mitchell after the NRL superstar sliced through Penrith’s defence in their Thursday night blockbuster.
The 25-year-old fullback has been in scintillating form for the Bunnies this season, bagging a hat trick against the Bulldogs earlier this month before helping his side beat Wayne Bennett’s Dolphins last weekend.
But he faced his toughest challenge of the season yet on Thursday, with Ivan Cleary’s premiers providing the sternest test yet for the Kangaroos gun at Accor Stadium.
However, an incredible flick pass which led to Damien Cook’s first try of the game showed once again he is the man for the occasion and left fans purring online – with some claiming he is the best player around right now.
‘Latrell Mitchell producing some rugby league porn,’ one fan said. ‘That passing.’
‘Latrell Mitchell best player on the planet when he’s at his best,’ another said.
‘Latrell Mitchell is just *chefs kiss*’ a third added.
