Retired NFL punter Pat McAfee has described Tom Brady potentially owning the Las Vegas Raiders as ‘straight out of a f***ing movie,’ though he ponders why billionaire Robert Kraft doesn’t offer the seven-time Super Bowl champ’ a share in the Patriots.

On Friday, ESPN reported that Brady, 45, is in ‘deep discussions’ with Raiders owner Mark Davis to join the team’s ownership group.

The stake would allow the legendary quarterback to become a limited partner with the NFL franchise. Talks have been ongoing ‘for weeks and could soon be reaching a resolution,’ per the report.

‘Him owning the team that he beat during the infamous tuck rule game that started that dynastic run is straight out of a f***ing movie,’ McAfee said of Brady’s link to the Raiders on his popular eponymous NFL show.

‘But why doesn’t Robert Kraft just give him a piece of [the Patriots] and let bygones be bygones and let’s move along.

”’Welcome back to the family Tom. You’ll forever be a Patriot because obviously you won so many Super Bowls here, six of them or whatever the case is so they’re not gonna have in Buccaneers jerseys, especially without ending like Payton [Manning] was with the Broncos,”’ the former Colts kicker added.

‘But why not welcome him back into the New England family? Why doesn’t Kraft give him what? 10, 15, 20 percent?’

Brady, who left the Patriots after a breakdown in contractual talks in March 2020, already holds a stake in another one of Davis’ teams, the reigning WNBA champions Las Vegas Aces.

He’s believed to be on good terms with Kraft after attending his wedding to Dana Blumberg by himself in October 2022, amid marriage troubles with now ex-wife and supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

Kraft revealed Thursday Brady will be honored for his historic 20 years at the Patriots’ home opener for the 2023 NFL season.

Any agreement between Brady and Davis on the NFL side would have to be approved by at least 24 owners in the league.

Brady’s 10-year, $375million contract with Fox Sports would be unaffected by an investment with the Raiders, ESPN added.

Brady announced his retirement from the NFL on February 1 after 23 seasons.

A three-time league MVP, Brady set NFL records for wins by a quarterback (251), Super Bowl wins, passing yards (89,214) and passing touchdowns (649) during his career with the New England Patriots (2000-19) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2020-22).
