Patrick Mahomes limped off in the first quarter of the Kansas City Chiefs’ do-or-die playoff clash against the Jaguars Saturday, in a huge blow to the team’s chances of getting through.
Mahomes is the face of the franchise and is widely regarded as the difference between the Chiefs getting to the Super Bowl and falling short.
In the first quarter against the Jaguars Saturday afternoon, he suffered a worrying-looking ankle injury, and after trying to play through the pain, soon limped off the field for treatment.
