Brisbane Broncos teammates Payne Haas and Albert Kelly are set to be suspended for one match each by the NRL after their physical clash outside a Sydney hotel last month.
The NRL’s breach notice over the matter alleges the pair brought the game into disrepute.
In addition to the suspensions, the notice says Haas will be fined $10,000, with Kelly to cop a $5,000 hit.

Kelly is currently out with a serious foot injury and will serve his suspension once he’s healed
The Broncos could have five days to respond to the breach notice, meaning Haas could face Penrith on Friday night.
Kelly is sidelined with a foot injury and would be unavailable to play no matter what action Brisbane decide to take.
Footage of the incident allegedly shows Haas calling Kelly a ‘f***ing c***’ before striking him with his left fist.

The clash supposedly occurred after Kelly stepped on Haas’ sneakers
Kelly allegedly stepped on Haas’ foot, before asking his teammate: ‘Why would I step on your shoes?’
The altercation occurred on March 20, the day before Kelly turned 31 and just hours after the Broncos beat Canterbury 16-10 in Sydney in round two of the NRL season.
Haas – a devout Muslim who observes Ramadan – has reportedly told club bosses he wasn’t drinking alcohol on the night in question.
The giant prop is currently on a two-year good behaviour bond after being found guilty of intimidating police officers at Tweed Heads on the far north coast of NSW in February last year.
That act also saw him cop a three-match ban and $50,000 fine from the NRL.
He was also suspended for four matches and fined $20,000 for failing to cooperate with an NRL Integrity Unit investigation in 2019.
