Scott Parker‘s first game in charge of Bournemouth will be live on Sky Sports with the Cherries taking on West Brom, who are also under new management.

The Baggies appointed former Barnsley boss Valerien Ismael following the departure of Sam Allardyce, who was unable to keep the club in the Premier League last season.

The game at the Vitality Stadium will kick off the new Championship season on Friday, August 6, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

Sheffield United, who were also relegated from the top flight last season, will play Birmingham at 5.30pm on Saturday, August 7, with that game also set to be televised on Sky.

The Blades’ second and third games of the season will also be on TV. They will play last season’s play-off finallists Swansea on Saturday, August 14 – with an 8pm kick-off. They will then face West Brom at the Hawthorns on Wednesday, August 18.

Derby’s trip to new boys Peterborough is the early pick on the second weekend of the campaign, with their game at London Road set to kick-off at 12.30pm.

Fulham’s first game on TV is a Tuesday night trip to London rivals Millwall on August 17.

West Brom’s game with Peterborough on Friday, August 27, will also be shown. This means the Baggies and the Blades will have three games each on TV in their opening month of the season.

The first big derby of the season will see Wayne Rooney’s side host Nottingham Forest on Saturday, August 28 – with a 12.30pm kick-off.

Sheffield Wednesday will kick-off the League One season on Sky with a trip to Chartlon, who narrowly missed out on the play-offs last season.

The other TV picks for August are Huddersfield v Preston (August 17) and Bristol City v Swansea (August 20).
