‘We had flirted for 6 months on MSN Messenger and I finally stopped waiting for him to ask me out!

‘It’s been a wild journey of highs and lows.

‘Hard parts and wondrous parts.’

‘It’s been consistent and repeated hard work and choosing each other every day, even when we are both annoying the hell out of each other,’ she wrote.

‘But I do consider myself lucky to have found someone so willing to grow and evolve with me, even when it’s hard because I know that is rare.

Trickett then explained the very down-to-earth way they spent their day.

‘Today, we celebrated by cleaning out our garbage bins, doing nit treatments for all the girls (me included!) and working (or getting drawn on!).

‘Celebrating my team mate and what we are building.’

The 38-year-old said she was ‘finished having children’ two years ago, but in December announced that there was another on the way.

She also said she wants to keep the sex of the unborn baby a secret until she gives birth.

‘It will be a surprise,’ she said during an appearance on The Morning Show.

‘We have had the privilege of having three surprises so far. I’ve actually thought they were all going to be boys, so I’m zero from three at the moment for predicting the gender of my baby.’

‘It’s one of the few surprises I think we have in this world and I can’t wait to find out in May,’ she said.

Trickett also admitted this pregnancy has been her most ‘challenging’ yet.

‘I’m not going to lie. I have probably started to acknowledge that this may be the hardest pregnancy,’ she said.

‘Not necessarily because of all the nausea – although I have had that most days during this pregnancy – I am geriatric in this pregnancy, which is a lovely term.’

Luke and Libby already have three children – daughters Bronte, Poppy and Edwina.
