Tottenham are close to agreeing a fee for Juventus loanee Dejan Kulusevski – with the north London club also eyeing moves for Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo and England starlet Marc Guehi

  • The Sweden international has been on loan at Tottenham for the past 18 months
  • Daniel Levy is keen to get best deal as a number of Juventus loans fall through
  • The winger has had a lacklustre campaign and is looking to get back to his best

Tottenham are close to agreeing a reduced £25million fee for winger Dejan Kulusevski, who has been on loan from Juventus

The Sweden international joined the club in January 2022, but after an initial bright start for the the north London side he has struggled this season for form, scoring just twice across Tottenham’s 2022-23 campaign.

At the end of May, Kulusevski admitted that he was uncertain where he start next season, saying: ‘I don’t know honestly… we will see.

‘I’m just focused on the pitch, I tried to do as good as I can and now of course it’s time to speak with the club.’

Spurs have an option to buy their loaned player, but Daniel Levy is keen to get the best deal for the valued player, and to take advantage of Juventus’ financial straits.

The Serie A side has sent a number of players on loan to the Premier League, including Weston McKennie, Denis Zakaria, and Arthur Melo, but none of either Leeds, Chelsea, or Liverpool are set to take up their respective options to buy.

Spurs have also registered interest in Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo with Davinson Sanchez pushing to leave.

Mail Sport reported on Thursday that Adarabioyo was ready to leave the club after failing to agree new terms with the Cottagers.

Fulham previously activated the extension clause in their player’s existing contract to keep him in west London until 2024, which will ensure that the club doesn’t lose him as a free summer during this transfer window.

Spurs are also among the clubs keen on Marc Guehi at Crystal Palace.

The appointment of new manager Ange Postecoglou has sharpened up Tottenham’s intentions in the transfer window as they look to move on from a disappointing season.

After finishing eighth, Spurs are looking ahead to the prospect of their first season without European football since the 2009-10 campaign.

On Thursday, Mail Sport revealed that the club were looking to make a bumper move for two of relegated Leicester’s star players, James Maddison and Harvey Barnes.

Spurs have offered the relegated club a joint bid of £50m for the attacking midfielder and the winger, both of whom are expected to stay in the top flight as their side readies itself for life in the Championship.
