Vinicius Jnr will not be involved in Real Madrid‘s LaLiga clash with Rayo Vallecano tonight as he has discomfort in his left knee, according to reports.
The Brazilian winger was originally set to miss the match after being sent off on Sunday in Madrid’s 1-0 defeat at Valencia for appearing to hit striker Hugo Duro in the face during a melee in second half stoppage time.
However, he was subjected to racist abuse before and during the game from the home fans, and after reviewing the footage his red card was rescinded, and Valencia have been handed a five-match partial stadium ban.
He will still not be able to take to the field at the Bernabeu this evening, though, as he is injured and has not been included in Carlo Ancelotti‘s matchday squad, according to COPE.
