In the footage, we see Zelensky interact with members of the armed forces at a petrol station.
During the visit, he praised Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces for their hard work.
Videos and images were shared on social media, where Zelensky wrote “The performance of tasks for the sake of Ukraine by you, guys, is truly heroic.”
Bakhmut is a base of operations for the Ukrainian military, on the eastern front line of the ongoing war with Russia.
