West Ham boss David Moyes is considering a move for 28-year-old Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski according to a report from Tuttomercatoweb.
A Polish international who has played the entirety of his senior career in Serie A, Zielinski is said to be valued at £42million.
West Ham are looking to bolster their ranks after missing out on Jesse Lingard, who joined Premier League new boys Nottingham Forrest on a free earlier this week.
Piotr Zielinski has made over 280 appearances at Napoli since joining the club back in 2016

Zielinski has been a consistent presence at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona since joining the club from Udinese in 2016.
Capable of playing both centrally, and on the left side of midfield, Zielinski started all five games of Napoli’s 2020 Copa Italia triumph, as former AS Milan star Gennaro Gattuso’s team defeated Juventus in the final on penalties.
The former Liverpool target also scored against Catalan giants Barcelona in the Europa League intermediate stage last season, securing a 1-1 draw at the Camp Nou, before the club was eliminated after a 4-2 defeat in the second leg.
Reports linking Zielinski with a move away from the Italian team will not be welcomed by fans, with star man Kalidou Koulibaly having already departed the club this summer for Chelsea.
Lingard turned down an opportunity to return to the London Stadium this summer
Captures of Andre Zambo Anguissa, Mathias Olivera, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia among others will help soften the blow, but owner Aurelio De Laurentiis will need to bring in new blood if the club are to improve on their impressive third-placed finish from last season.
With Lingard signing an eye-watering deal worth £200k a week at Nottingham Forrest rather than returning to the London Stadium, David Moyes is also reported to be turning his sights to Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans, as the Hammers prepare for a second successive season playing in European competitions.
The club is also said to be close to competing a deal for £35million-rated striker Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo.
