WWE legend Natalya is handed THREE new Guinness World Records, taking her tally to a staggering SIX

WWE wrestler Natalya has been handed three new Guinness World Records, taking her collection of accolades to a staggering six records.

The Queen of Harts now holds the records for the most Wrestlemania appearances for a female, most matches for a female in WWE, most wins for a female in WWE and most Smackdown matches for a female.

She also has the most Raw matches for a female wrestler and most premium live events for a female.

And speaking to MailOnline’s Alex McCarthy ahead of Saturday nights’ Money In the Bank Event, revealed her delight at how she is starting to become recognised for these records.

Natalya said: ‘I had three world records and I was contacted by Guinness and they got it touch and said “Hey we’ve got a surprise for you! We heard you’re going to be in London and we wanted to present you with three more World Records.

‘So it was such a cool surprise and something I didn’t expect, so it is very very cool. So most matches, most wins, most premium live events, most Wrestlemania matches, most Raw matches most Smackdown matches.’

Natalya added: ‘It’s very cool. Very humbling but it’s exciting and it’s so nice to be recognised by Guinness. I always joke with people they’re not records for like the longest finger nails. It’s just a testament to the years that I have worked in WWE.’

This will be her 16th year in the WWE circuit and speaking on how much the achievements meant to her, the Queen of Harts again emphasised how humbling it was to be given these awards.

‘It’s so special because it’s like you don’t really realise on this journey in WWE, this is my 16th year and like I never added up all the work I was doing and then one day it was like “Hey, you and Randy Orton have the most wins”‘, she said.

‘And Randy and I were laughing because we got tagged on Twitter by Guinness, and I was like “I didn’t know I had that many wins!.”

‘And so it’s just nice to be recognised and have this kind of stuff to celebrated because it’s such an honour for me to be able to work with WWE and of course we’re here in London, big show tonight – Money In The Bank. And of course our UK fans really are second-to-none, they really are the best in the world.’

But it seems she is still hungry for more and can now break a new record, amassing the most submission wins of any man or woman in WWE history admitting she is very close to surpassing that record.

Natalya: ‘I know that there is one that I would love to make a new World Record of, it is the most submission wins of any man or woman in WWE history. So nobody has won a match via submission more than me – not a man or a woman. Not even Bret Hart. The hitman actually won a lot of actions via roll-up, via quick pin. He didn’t actually win a lot of matches with the sharp shooter. And that was brought to my attention by the WWE universe. I was like “oh my gosh” so that is my next record to have solidified.’

‘I think it’s around 250 plus submission wins, so literally one third of the wins i’ve had in WWE are via submission.’

Speaking on her motivations to keep her going, she admitted: ‘I love working with new women and new talent, you know getting the opportunity to get in the ring with Rhea Ripley and the thought of one day having a rivalry with Bianca Belair and a lot of the women at NXT.

‘I loved working with Cora Jade. There’s so many incredible women at NXT that I’d love to work with. And of course I’d love to just do more with so many of the talented women, I had a match a couple of weeks ago with Zoey Stark – that was really fun.

‘I would love to kick Trish Stratus’ ass. So a little Canadian show down. But I think there’s so many more great stories to be told and I think that’s the great thing about WWE, we’re all-year-long and are forever producing content and so for me, getting the opportunity to work with women from our past present and future – that is what drives me. Being able to challenge them and pass on my experience but also learn from them too.’

Natalya also gave an insight into some of the female wrestlers who are passing through her gym, the ‘Hart Dungeon’ as well as one wrestler she is hoping to have a rivalry with in the future.

‘It’s funny because I look what they do at the performance centre and I think no body can duplicate the magic that they make at the performance centre. And a lot of people would say: “Are you like a little performance centre?” And I would say no, we’re like a private wrestling fight club.

‘It’s very private and it’s very exclusive and I think of women that I would want to face at NXT, Cora Jade, I would also like to put Tiffany Stratton in the sharp-shooter. They always say never judge a book by its cover but I have been impressed by Cora Jade, Tiffany Stratton, Roxanne Perez.

‘There’s so many talented women down there. But Tiffany is someone who came in and didn’t seem like wrestling was her journey and she’s killing it and she’s doing so well and I think she’s becoming a great champion and I’d love to have a rivalry with her.’
