Bayern Munich bosses have reportedly ‘jetted into London’ on Thursday night as they hope to reach an agreement to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham.
According to The Sun, bosses from the Bundesliga giants ‘sent a delegation to meet with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy’.
The report claims they ‘met in a central London hotel’ in the hope of landing the England captain.
With one year left on his contract, Kane has linked with many clubs around Europe including Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea.
Bayern Munich though have come out as the frontrunners in the race to sign Kane – despite having had a bid turned down by Levy.

In fact, it may have been the Spurs chairman’s high valuation of Kane that saw United turn their interest elsewhere.
Bayern, meanwhile, are gearing up to make a new bid for the 29-year-old, after their initial £60million offer was rejected by the club.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are now set to make a new £70m offer for the England front man this week, but that is again likely to be rejected by Daniel Levy as he hopes to lock Kane down on a new deal.
Having graduated from the Spurs academy, it’s clear the club does not want its prized asset to leave, with Mail Sport reporting the club are now scrambling to try and entice him to stay.
He returned to training today and is set for crunch talks with new manager Ange Postecoglou this week over his future.
But the Australian has said he has not been given any assurances over Kane’s future at the football club.
Spurs are prepared to offer Kane a new contract that could see him earn £400,000-per-week
They are also hoping to offer Kane (pictured) a post-playing career position at the club, similar to Ryan Mason
Spurs will table a new deal that will see Kane, who scored 30 goals in 38 games last season, earn a whopping £400,000-per-week and also offer him a role at the club after he finishes his playing career.
Other former pros have gone down a similar route, including Ryan Mason, who has held several different coaching positions throughout the club, following his retirement.
Mail Sport also reported that Bayern had infuriated Levy after Thomas Tuchel, who was an admirer of Kane’s during his time at Chelsea, met with the forward at his house recently.
But it appears Kane has been impressed by the new Tottenham boss, and that could go a long way in Spurs’ endeavours to retain the striker.
The Australian reportedly left a positive impression on the forward with the side now back in pre-season training.
Later this week, Tottenham are set to fly out to Asia and Australia for several warm-up matches and will face West Ham in Perth in four days time. Kane, according to The Sun, is still expected to be on the flight to Australia.
