Fulham are in talks to sign Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi and Brazilian midfielder Andre, 21, from Fluminense.

The winger has one year remaining on his deal at Stamford Bridge but is seeking a new club ahead of next season.

Mail Sport revealed last week that Hudson-Odoi wants to leave Chelsea this summer in search of regular first-team football.

The England international spent last season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen but has returned to Chelsea, where he is set to start pre-season.

However, there is an acknowledgement that Hudson-Odoi needs to be playing consistent senior football, a prospect that may not be forthcoming under Mauricio Pochettino next season.

Meanwhile, the Cottagers face fierce competition for Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade, with Barcelona, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, Spurs, and West Ham all holding talks with representatives in recent months.

He was in the Brazilian league’s team of the year in 2022. Fulham are confident of securing his services and are making strong advances.

It has been a frustrating transfer window for Fulham, who are yet to bring in any fresh faces.

They have had an £18m offer for Benfica defender Morato rejected but the Brazilian has informed Benfica he wishes to join Fulham.

Morato, 22, has played in the Champions League and won the Primeira Liga last season with the Eagles, though only as a bit-part player.
