The Cardinals are considering trading the No. 3 overall pick in this month’s NFL Draft, according to a new report.

After going 11-6 in 2021, Arizona took a massive step back last season, going 4-13 with coach Kliff Kingsbury getting fired after the season.

Unlike most 4-13 teams, however, the Cardinals do not have to worry about the quarterback position, and have fielded offers for their pick from six different teams according to ESPN.

Kyler Murray won the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award in 2019, and was named a Pro Bowler the next two seasons starring in Arizona.

He’s also under contract through 2028 after signing a massive five-year, $230.5million extension last summer.

But not all the teams drafting soon after the Cardinals in the first round have elite talent under center, and quarterbacks could fly off the board with Bryce Young and CJ Stroud already expected to go in the first two picks.

The Colts, drafting at four, need a quarterback after cutting veteran Matt Ryan, the Falcons could (No. 8) look to upgrade on 2022 third-rounder Desmond Ridder, and even the Raiders (No. 7) could look to bring competition to Jimmy Garoppolo after signing him.

Assuming Young and Stroud are gone, Anthony Richardson and Will Levis could be possible picks at the No. 3 spot.

Of course, a team could also trade up to pick a non-quarterback, like Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson Jr.

Including the No. 3 pick they currently hold, the Cardinals have eight picks in the draft, including No. 34 overall and two third-rounders.

The first round of the draft will take place on April 27.
