Tom Brady is extending his relationship with rental car company Hertz, starring in a new series of advertisements putting him in a fictional talk show.

In a series of ads, the Hall-of-Fame-bound quarterback is a guest on the so-called ‘Hertz Let’s Go Show’.

The first of many ads shows Brady reminiscing about his time on the field and how it’s different in retirement.

Brady’s then quickly and deeply introspective about his catch phrase from when he would run on the field before playing for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

‘Every time I ran on the field, I would yell, “Let’s Go”, but where was I really going?,’ Brady said.

After ‘baring his feelings’ out for the camera, and expressing his desire to get in a rental car and just go anywhere, the talk show’s ‘host’, actress and comedian Yvonne Orji, pulled a lever and dropped a spinning wheel with which kind of car Brady could drive.

Brady is then ushered into an electric vehicle and encouraged to drive to Denver – all while acting confused as the commercial ends.

The quarterback has been in a number of advertisements for the rental car company in recent years.

‘I appreciate my close collaboration with Hertz because it truly is so natural and authentic to me,’ said Brady. ‘There is such a true connection to ‘Let’s Go’ as it relates to travel and the desire to have a seamless experience which Hertz always provides.

‘Being an EV driver, I also love that more people across the country will have the opportunity to experience Hertz’s EV rental fleet. I’ve been driving one for a long time and seeing Hertz continue to invest in them is amazing.’

Orji, Brady’s partner in the advertisements, is an actress and comedian with a number of television credits to her name.

She was a main character in the HBO show ‘Insecure’ and also appeared in episodes of ‘Jane the Virgin’ and the reboot of ‘The Wonder Years’.

Brady has been keeping himself busy after announcing his retirement from football after 23 seasons in the NFL.

He revealed to the world that he was stepping away from the field back in February after a lackluster season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Since then, he’s attracted interest by debating his future with Fox Sports, looking into part-ownership with the Las Vegas Raiders, and speaking to the most recent class of drafted quarterbacks.

It was believed that when Brady left the game, he would become an analyst or color commentator with Fox’s NFL coverage.

However, Brady says that he’s taking time away to hone his abilities before going on the airwaves.

Brady has also reportedly been interested in acquiring a stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, with owner Mark Davis happy to let Brady buy in.

Fox says that Brady’s ownership of the team would not affect his deal in any way.

But outside of those movements, Brady has also been spending time with four of the top quarterbacks from the NFL draft.

He spoke to Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson, and Will Levis – offering advice he learned throughout his career before they embark on rookie seasons of their own.
