Miami Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill had to be restrained during an altercation with a marina employee, new surveillance footage shows.

Hill, 29, allegedly struck a man during a disagreement at Haulover Marina on Father’s Day.

Surveillance video of the altercation, obtained by Fox Sports 640’s Andy Slater, appeared to show Hill taking a swipe at the Marina employee before another man holds the NFL star back and pulls him away.

The footage then skips ahead to show Hill having to be restrained by a group of six people.

The alleged altercation reportedly was sparked by Hill and his acquaintances boarding a fishing charter boat without the owner’s permission and when the charter employees discovered the party aboard they tried to kick them off.

A verbal dispute reportedly broke out, during which Hill allegedly slapped one of the employees ‘on the back of the neck with an open hand.’

During the initial incident, Hill reportedly said, ‘I can buy you and the boat’ to the charter’s captain after he had asked the Dolphins No. 10 and his associates to exit the boat — which they had not been given authorization to be on.

According to a report from the South Florida Sun Sentinel, Hill ‘became enraged and attempted to enter the boat to cause him bodily harm but was held back by unknown associates.’

Surveillance footage of the incident ‘backed up the boat captain’s and employee’s accounts’, per the police report.

No charges were ever brought upon Hill and he reached an out-of-court settlement with the alleged victim earlier this week.

The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office told USA Today that it had closed the investigation into Hill and that he would not face any criminal misdemeanor battery charges.

Hill, entering his second year with the Miami Dolphins, admitted that he couldn’t afford another incident.

‘I just can’t make bonehead mistakes like that,’ Hill told reporters Wednesday.

The NFL is investigating the matter and Hill said he would full cooperate with the probe.

‘As far as the story, I’m not here to get into that,’ Hill said. ‘I’m here to play ball. I understand your question totally, but the issue has been resolved, and I’m currently cooperating with the NFL, giving them all the details on what happened on that day.’

It is unclear if Hill will face a suspension from the league but he appeared to be unfazed at the possibility.

‘No. When I’m able to come here and play ball, I get a chance to get away from all of that at the end of the day,’ Hill said when asked about a potential ban. ‘That’s the thing about football.

‘God has blessed me to be able to perform and do what I do, and I’m blessed and grateful for that.’

Hill has previously been investigated by police before. Back in 2019 he was named in a child abuse report.

He had been under investigation for an alleged battery incident involving a juvenile, according to multiple published reports. The Star reported that Hill’s then-three-year-old son suffered a broken arm in the incident.

However, Hill was never charged in that case.

Hill is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and has made the Pro Bowl in all seven of his seasons in the league.

He spent last season with the Dolphins after six seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.

However, he surprised fans during this offseason when he announced he intended to retire after the 2025-26 season, which would be his tenth in the NFL.
